FTP Accounts (Tools/Options)

The FTP Accounts tab of the IDE Options dialog provides maintenance of remote FTP server definitions. The IDE uses the server definitions to open and save files on remote servers.

The FTP Accounts tab shows the currenly defined defined FTP servers.

FTP Accounts Dialog Items

FTP Accounts

Shows a list of the currently defined accounts.

Add

Allows definition of a new account.

Edit

Allows modification of a selected account.

Remove

Removed the selected account.

When adding or editing an account definition the following dialog is displayed:

FTP Account Dialog Items

Account

Provides a descriptive name of the FTP account.

Server

Defines the server name or IP address..

Protocol

Allows the configuration of the connection protocol.

Port

Defines the port number used in the FTP connection.

User

Specifies the user name requiired for the connection.

Password

Specifies the user password requiired for the connection.

Initial Remote Directory

Defines the intial directory selected when a connection is made.

Initial Local Directory

Defines the local directory selected when a connection is made.
