*AAMCANCELCHAR={value}

 

The *AAMCANCELCHAR control reports the current default setting of the AAM cancel character support for the current PLB program and load modules. {value} is a character string variable that contains the AAM cancel character as described below. If the AAM cancel character support is not in use, value will be a null string. This program default setting is reset to the runtime default setting after a CHAIN instruction is executed.

 

{value} can be a single key for a character or a key name. The following key names are supported:

 

ESC, ESCAPE

F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8, F9, F10

F11, F12, F13, F14, F15, F16, F17, F18, F19, F20

F21, F22, F23, F24, F25, F26, F27, F28, F29, F30

F31, F32, F33, F34, F35, F36, F37, F38, F39, F40

UP,DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT

INS, INSERT, DEL, DELETE

HOME, PGUP, PAGEUP.PGDN, PAGEDOWN, END

 

This keyword was replaced by the *IOCANCELCHAR keyword and is now obsolete.
