*AAMCHECKTIME={value}

The *AAMCHECKTIME control reports the check time in seconds that is being used for the AAM cancel character support for the current program and load modules. {value} is a numeric variable returns a value from zero (0) to thirty (30). This value is the elapsed seconds between checks for the AFILE read cancel character. This program default setting is reset to the runtime default setting after a CHAIN instruction is executed.

This keyword was replaced by the *IOCHECKTIME keyword and is now obsolete.
