ADVISEKEY Property

The ADVISEKEY property retrieves the current advise connection key that identifies the interface connection for processing AUTOMATION object events. The property uses the following format:

 

ADVISEKEY={value}

Note the following:

  1. ADVISEKEY may be used in GETPROP statements of an AUTOMATION object.

  2. {value} must be a Numeric Variable.

  3. The information provided by this property may only be useful for situations when the AUTOMATION object requires some explicit feedback of this information.
