Tracepoints (Windows Menu)

TheTracepoints selection of the Windows Menu toggles the Tracepoints window or tab visiblility. The Tracepoints selection is available when editing and debugging and using the integrated version of the debugger (Tools/Options/Debug). Tracepoints are defined for a program in a project and are saved and restored when the project is closed or opened.

Clicking the Close icon (red X on the title bar) will cause the window or tab to be hidden. The Tracepoints selection of the Windows menu will restore the visibility.

The window's toolbar provides buttons to:

• Position the editor to the selected tracepoint

• Add a new tracepoint

• Update the selected tracepoint

• Delete the selected tracepoint or tracepoints

• Enable the selected tracepoint or tracepoints

• Disable the selected tracepoint or tracepoints

• Select all tracepoints

• Clear all tracepoints selections

• Promote or Demote the tracepoints to a Window or Tab

• Hide the tracepoints window

Double-clicking a tracepoints entry will allow the tracepoint to be updated.
