SETGUID

 

The SETGUID utility updates PLF forms with a current GUID identification without having to load the PLF form into the PLBDSIGN designer.. The command line for SETGUID is:

 

 

SETGUID {file}

Parameters:
file
The required name of the form file (PLF) that is updated.

Note the following:

  1. The SETGUID is executed as a Windows OS console utility and can be executed in a batch file.

  2. After the SETGUID utility has modified a PLF form, the PLF form can be used in multiple programs and cached optimally when executed using the Application Server.

  3. The default file extension is "PLF".
