*AAMCHECKTIME (SETMODE)
9.6
*AAMCHECKTIME={seconds}
This keyword modifies the current AAM check time value specified in seconds. This keyword only changes the AAM check time setting for the current program and load modules that are being used. The {seconds} value is a numeric variable or literal in the range of zero (0) to thirty (30). If a value greater than thirty is specified, the value is set to thirty. The default value is two (2) for Application Server clients and five (5) for files controlled by the Data Manager. The setting only takes affect for a AFILEs that are subsequently opened or prepared. The list control does not affect any AFILE variables that are already open.
This keyword has been replaced with the *IOCHECKTIME keyword and is now obsolete.
