*AAMCANCELCHAR={char}
This control changes the AAM cancel character used for aborting an AFILE READ instruction for the current program and load modules that are being used. The new setting only affects AFILEs that are subsequently opened or prepared. The control does not affect any AFILE variables that are already opened or prepared when the change was made.
The {char} identifier is a character string variable or literal or one of the following values.
