*PREPUSEIP (SETMODE)

PLBCMP Only

*PREPUSEIP={value}

The *PREPUSEIP control allows a program to change the current string settings for PLB_PREPUSEIP. The use of this keyword automatically redirected files in a program to a data manager without having to make any source changes to the program.

{value} is a previously defined Character String Variable that returns the default IP address and port number used for all non-redirected file PREPAREs. If the input variable is a Null String, the current string setting is removed. This causes non-redirected files to be prepared in a normal manner. If the {sqltag} DIM variable contains all blanks, the current setting for the specified keyword is set to '<sql>'.
