*USESPLEXT={value}

This control reports the state of the USESPLEXT control. This control applies the default extension to spool file names when no extension is specified.

Alternatively, the user may use the PLB_SPLEXT runtime keyword to control this capability.

{value} is a previously defined Numeric Variable that receives the default spool file extension mode.
