*PROGSERIAL (GETMODE)

*PROGSERIAL={value}

The *PROGSERIAL keyword returns the 'Nxxxxxx' serial number stamped into the PLC file when the program was compiled. Note that if this instruction is executed in a load module, the serial number returned applies to the load module code currently being executed.

{value} is a previously defined Character Variable that reports the program serial number.
