*HandISPLAY (GETMODE)

*HANDISPLAY={value}

The *HANDISPLAY keyword returns the current redirection file handle for a user specified file that was attached or opened by the last SETMODE *DISPLAY="filename" operation. If the return value is 0xFFFFFFFF or 4294967295, no file has been attached/opened for output redirection.

{value} is a previously defined Numeric Variable that receives the file handle.
