*DEFPRT (GETMODE)

*DEFPRT={name}

Where:

name

Required. A previously defined Character String Variable that receives the default printer in the screen definition file.

The *DEFPRT control reports the default printer name.

If the {name} variable is not large enough to contain the default name, the EOS flag is set.
