Creating, Opening, Saving, and Closing Projects


 

Three commands on the File menu allow you to create, open, and save projects.

 

Menu command

Description

New Project

Closes the current project, prompting you to save any files that have changed. You can then specify the new project settings and begin working with the new project.

Open Project

Closes the current project, prompting you to save any changes. You can then select an existing project file with the open project dialog.

Save Project As

Closes the current project allowing you to save the project under a different name.

Close Project

Closes the current project, prompting you to save any files that have changed.

 

It is also possible to share files between projects. A single source file or form, can be part of more than one project. Note that changes made to a form or source file in one project will be propagated amongst all projects that share that file.
