VALIDATE_ADDR={ip | URL}

This keyword is used to confirm that a rollover action should occur when there is a communications error between the primary and secondary data managers. If the secondary looses the connection to the primary, and can still ping the validate address, a rollover will occur. If the secondary cannot ping the validate address, the secondary thinks the error is local and will not rollover to assume a primary roll.

Format:

VALIDATE_ADDR={ip|URL}

Where:

ip | URL

The communications validation ip address or URL.
