SCAN_TIME={seconds}

This keyword defines the number of seconds that the primary server waits between the scanning of files in the UNMANAGED_RECURS_DIRnn and UNMANAGED-DIRnn directories.

This keyword is specified in the primary server's configuration file and the setting is transferred to a secondary server when it logs on. If this keyword is not specified, a default of twenty (20) seconds is used. The minimum number of seconds that can be specified is ten (10).

Format:

SCAN_TIME={seconds}

Where:

seconds

The number of seconds that a primary server waits before invoking a directory scan. If the {seconds} is less than ten (10), the minimum of ten seconds is used.
