BACKUP_OPEN_SHARED Keyword

     BACKUP_OPEN_SHARED={on|off}

This keyword has been added for a BACKUP replicator. This keyword must be placed in the [replication] section.

When this keyword is set to be ON, the BACKUP replicator opens the replication files with a shared mode of read and write. Thus, when this keyword is set to ON, then another SUNDM file manager can also open the same replication files.

WARNING:

1. When the BACKUP_OPEN_SHARED keyword is set to ON, the data files should only be opened by the normal SUNDM file manager in a READ only mode. This requirement cannot be enforced until a more permanent change is made to integrate the operation of the two file managers into one file manager at a later date.

2. When the replication files are being accessed by both the BACKUP replicator and a normal SUNDM file manager at the same time, the keyword 'DM_OPENONCE=OFF must be specified in the [environment] section for the normal SUNDM file manager.
