Add / Edit (SQLIO Data Sources Menu)

The Add function of the Data Sources Menu defines a connection to a database.

Data Source Editor Dialog Items

Name

Defines a name for the data source entry. This name must be unique within the schema.

Description

Provides a description of the database entry.

Driver

Selects the appropriate driver to access the database.

SQL Language

Selects the appropriate language for the database

Host

The host name used to connect to the database.

User Name

The user name used to log into the database.

Password

The password used to log into the database.

Connect

A connection string that provides access to the database.

Ext

Extension settings required by the database.

Flags

Connection flags required by the database.
