Add / Edit (Named IO Databases Menu)

The Add function of the Databases Menu creates a reference to another schema the database. A database name is an alias assigned to a selected external file.

Database Editor Dialog Items

Name

Defines an alias for the database entry. This name must be unique within the schema.

Database File

Specifies the external database file assigned to the name.

Description

Provides a description of the database entry.
