SUNDB86x Only
SUNDB86A, SUNDB86D, and SUNDB86L directly compile the PL/B source into absolute machine code. SUNDB86M incorporates a three phase compilation process translating the PL/B source to assembler, initiating the assembly of the generated source and then initiating the linking of the necessary library routines into the final program. How each compiler operates and the options it supports are outlined in the following sections:
