PLB_DMKEEPALIVE Keyword

PLB_DMKEEPALIVE={ ON | OFF }

 

Keep-alive handshaking between the Sunbelt Data Manager and application runtimes prevent a data manager child thread from becoming hung when a workstation is rebooted. This keyword disables this keep-alive support if necessary. The capability is enabled (ON) by default.

 

To implement the KEEPALIVE processing, both the DM_KEEPALIVE keyword in the server configuration file and this keyword in the client configuration file must be defined.

 

The older name PLB_FMKEEPALIVE is supported for legacy usage.
