PLB_COMPRESSION Keyword

PLB_COMPRESSION={ ON | OFF }

 

If this keyword is set to ON, all messages sent to an 8.5C or later SUNDM data manager will be processed through the compression algorithm starting when a PL/B program logs onto the data manager. If the keyword is set to OFF, no compression is done. The default when this keyword is not defined is ON.

 

If the runtime is communicating with a version of SUNDM (SUNFM) prior to 8.5.C, message compression is ignored without giving any errors.
