*CLOCKUSEIP={ip addr}

The *CLOCKUSEIP control causes the runtime to access a Sunbelt Data Manager to retrieve the time and date information for a CLOCK statement.

{ip addr} is a previously defined Character String Variable or literal that contains the IP address of the server. If the value specified is NULL, no server time and date services are available and the values are obtained from the client.

Remember that the CLOCK instruction will affect the LESS flag when the *CLOCKUSEIP string is set to any {ip adr} string even an invalid one.
