*OVERLAYON

This list control causes information that is printed on top of other information to OR the pixels with the previous pixels so that each of the items is visible. This list control remains in effect until a program chain operation occurs or a *OVERLAYOFF list control is used. Note that since the information is ORed together, printing too much information in one area causes a blackening effect with loss of clarity.
