*BGCOLOR (PRTPAGE)

*BGCOLOR={*color | value}

This list control sets the background color for those printers that may print in color. The {*color} operand may be one of the following: *BLACK, *BLUE, *CYAN, *GREEN, *MAGENTA, *RED, *WHITE, or *YELLOW. If {value} is specified it must be a numeric variable, equate or expression that evaluates to a twenty-four bit color number in BGR (blue, green, red) format.

If the printer does not support color, the value is automatically converted to gray scale.
