*ROLL (KEYIN and DISPLAY)

*ROLL

This list control enables the auto roll feature, allowing the entire window to roll up if any of the following occurs on the bottom line of the window: Screen I/O that is not terminated with a semi-colon, an *N, an *L, or an *R. *ROLL is the default characteristic for MS-DOS and Linux compatible operating systems. This list control remains in effect until a NOROLL control or until program termination.
