*PS

This list control generates a common palette that translates the image as it is displayed. By using this list control, several images with different color palettes may be displayed on the same screen.

The overall quality of each image is not quite as good as with the *PF list control, and it takes a little longer to display the image. But, if several images are displayed at the same time, the *PS list control is required. If several different IMAGE instructions place the images on the screen at the same time and the first used the *PS list control (or did not specify the *PF list control), each IMAGE instruction should specify the *PS list control (or not specify the *PF list control).

The list controls *PF and *PS are mutually exclusive and the last one specified prior to a variable is the one used.
