The image software allows you to display or print photographic type pictures or documents in one of the following formats: PCX, DCX, GIF, TIF (including multi-page TIF), BMP, and TGA. The software automatically detects the format of the image file when it is displayed or printed. The image software also allows full program control of a scanner to create pictures or documents.

You may create image files in several other ways:

Create photographic type image files with an image capture card.
Use any application that creates image files such as PC Paintbrush IV Plus.
Create photographic type image files with a color scanner.
Create scanned documents with any black and white flatbed or hand scanner that creates image files such as the Canon IX-12, Microtek scanner or HP ScanJet.

The SUNIMAGE software provides these capabilities:

Display image at any location on the screen or laser printer.
Scan images into PCX format using a HP ScanJet or compatible scanner.
Display images at any location on the screen or laser printer.
Display multiple images at one time on the screen or laser printer.
Mix documents and pictures on the screen or laser printer.
Display images on any PC screen other than the original Monochrome Display Adapter.
Display images on a screen with existing text.
Create windows to scroll through documents or images that are larger than the defined screen window.
