*PDFDEFPRTMETRICS={value}

This keyword returns the font rendering state for PDF output using the *UNITS=*FONT control.

If this keyword is returns a non-zero value, the runtime turns on font rendering using the current default printer for *UNITS=*FONT operations when generating Sunbelt PDF output.
