*CLOCKUSEIP (GETMODE)

8.7B, PLBCMP GUI Only

*CLOCKUSEIP={value}

The *CLOCKUSEIP control returns the {ip adr} of the Sunbelt Data Manager from which time and date values are retrieved by the CLOCK instruction.

{value} is a previously defined Character String Variable that contains the IP address of the server. If the value returned is NULL, no server is being used for time and date services and the values are obtained from the client.

Remember that the CLOCK instruction will affect the LESS flag when the *CLOCKUSEIP string is set to any {ip adr} string even an invalid one.
