*T (COMWRITE)

*T[={seconds}])

This control causes a time-out to occur if more than {seconds} elapse between the transmission of any two consecutive characters. This control remains in effect until another time-out control is executed or the COMWRITE instruction terminates. If not specified, the default is three (3) seconds. The value can be given in fractional seconds.

This control is ignored when using COMWRITE with Window Sockets.
