Compiler Directives

Compiler Directives increase productivity by eliminating redundant coding and forcing standardization. One example is a common routine used in ten different programs. The routine could be written once and included in all ten programs with a Compiler Directive.

Other Compiler Directives allow for conditional compilation, for the inclusion of assembler language routines (SUNDB86M Only), for the inclusion of hexadecimal operation codes (machine code - SUNDB86x only), limited printing of the source listing and equating variables.
