CHAIN Example

Example 1:

NEXTPGM

INIT

"ARREPORT MYFILE 1-10"

CHAIN

NEXTPGM

(or)

CHAIN

"ARREPORT MYFILE 1-10"

The system loads and transfers control to the first executable instruction in the program ARREPORT. The extra information beyond the actual program name (` MYFILE 1-10') is placed in the system variable S$CMDLIN for access by the chained program. If ARREPORT may not be found within the current subdirectory or any of the Logged On Drives, a CFAIL error occurs.
