Example 1:

NDX OF A000,B000,C000

 

If the numeric variable NDX has a value of 1, program execution changes to the Program Execution Label A000. If it has a value of 2, program execution changes to B000. A value of 3 causes it to change to C000. If NDX has any other value, control is passed to the next sequential instruction.

NDX OF A000,,C000,,E000

 

If the numeric variable NDX has a value of 1, program execution changes to the Program Execution Label A000. If NDX has a value of 3, execution changes to C000. A value of 5 causes it to change to E000. If NDX has any other value, control is passed to the next sequential instruction.
