Treeview Node Editor
The Treeview Node Editor allows maintenance of nodes within a ttreeview. The editor consists of two lists
and nine buttons.
Before working with the editor, it is generally best to associate any user defined imagelists needed to
the treeview. This will simplify the image index association process as buttons are defined. If no imagelists
are defined, the runtime's default imagelist is used.
The edit window may be resized and a splitter is available to allow resizing the buttons list.

-
Editor Lists
-
The list on the left side of the editor shows the current state of the treeview and nodes. The list on
right shows the selected node's properties. The selected node is highlighted in the left hand list titled
"Treeview" and may be changed by clicking the desired node name
-
OK
-
The OK button signals that modifications to the treeview are complete and the treeview is updated. The
editor is then closed.
-
Cancel
-
The Cancel button indicates that any modifications to the treeview should be discarded and the editor
closed.
-
Add
-
The Add button inserts a new node into the treeview. The node name defaults to Node{nn} where {nn} is
a sequential value.
-
Remove
-
The Remove button deletes the selected node from the treeview. The selected node is highlighted in the
left hand list titled "Treeview".
-
Load
-
The Load button allows selection of a previously saved set of node definitions. The Load/Save feature
allows the definition of a treeview that can then be used in multiple forms promoting consistency and
speeding form creation. Note that upon selecting the Load function, any previously defined treeview nodes
are removed before the new nodes are added.
-
Store
-
The Store button saves the current set of treeview node definitions. Once selected, the user is prompted
for a unique name to identify the definition set. The treeview nodes are then saved for future use in
other forms.
-
Help
-
The Help button displays this page in a new window.
-
Up, Down, Right, or Left
-
The Up and Down Arrow buttons located between the two lists of the editor allow the order of the selected
node to be changed. The Right and Left buttons demote or promote the item repectively.
