Deleting Controls

The Designer offers several ways to delete the currently selected controls.

Using the Menu

Selected controls may be deleted using the Delete function of the Edit menu.

Keyboard Del Key

A simpler method of deletion is to press the DEL key on the keyboard.

Shortcut Menu

A shortcut menu is displayed when the user clicks the right mouse button over the form or a control. Selecting Delete within the menu will remove the selected objects.

Panels

When a Panel control is deleted, all objects that have the panel as a parent will also be deleted.
